Fragments from
the witching hour.

Selected frames

A loose selection. Orders and borders are arbitrary.

Series

Ongoing constellations of images that seem to belong together.

Notes

A few lines about where these photographs come from.

I work slowly, recently mostly at night. I like peripheral places: back entrances, transit lines, rooftops, the in-between spaces that sit just next to where things are supposed to happen.

My tools are mechanical and require chemistry - 35mm, medium format, 4x5, 8x10, sometimes even super8 stills. I accept the parts I can't fully control: grain, light leaks, strange colors from expired film.

This site is a rotating sketchbook more than a catalogue. Things will move around or disappear from time to time.

Correspondence

If something here resonates and you'd like to talk.

If you want to talk about prints, trades, collaborations or screenings, or just to say hello, don't be afraid to write. I read everything, but replies are slow, because I'm introverted, awkward, and weird.
